I want to recognize my husband,James, for the Leaner he has been in my life for 47 years. Our lives have been filled with leaning moments. He served his country for 20 years in the Air Force. We moved many times and he was always our mechanic, plumber, electrician, carpenter, and took care of whatever situation might occur. If he didn't know how to do something, he would always get a book and figure it out. He still does all these things. We have had many travel opportunities and often times he was our driver and photographer. He even did some developing. Our travels took us to all of the 50 states and over 20 countries. While we were in Germany, he took private pilot lessons and was able to solo after 7 hours. Airplanes became one of his favorite topics. He is a quiet person, but very knowledgable and I can always take my questions to him. He makes me feel safe and does so many things to make my life better. He was my typist when I was getting my masters degree and now he is my computer resource. He fixes my lunch for work, irons my uniform, backs my car up close or whatever he can to assist me when I go to work or anywhere. When I get in my car, the gas tank has been filled. He and our dog, Jessee, are very close and he takes great care of her. He's the type of person you can count on and I want him to know he is the love of my life and how much I really appreciate him.
