There are so many fond memories I have of this great man who touched my life in so many ways. Ralph was true a gentleman, someone you could count on for constant friendship. I must have met Ralph when I was too young to remember. He adopted a few nick names for me which I’ll will keep to myself but I believe calling me those names was his way of telling me how much he thought of me. I like to think that I grew up with Ralph and his wonderful wife Marge in my life for a reason. Now that I am a new dad I know that it is so important that you keep a great friendship with your kids forever. I know Ralph always did that with his kids and I admire that. I can’t even begin to imagine how many lives he touched. No one can take away all the great memories and Leaning Moments I’ve had with him and his wonderful family. Ralph you were greatly loved and you will be greatly missed.

Ralph I just wanted to let you know you are in Les and my thoughts. I want to thank you so much for the support you gave Shaun and Acoustic Blue. The coffee, donuts and the great friendship when we were able to be at a festival. You will be missed by many. May God take good care of you now.

Hi Lyndaker family. I know how much you're missing Ralph and I guess that will never completely go away. Some folks leave a lot of memories when they're gone. But, as I've heard it said many times, it's not what you take, it's what you leave behind. Ralph has left an indelible mark on you all, and he was proud of you all, and you will live on and be a testiment of his influence as the leader of the family. Although I've only known you for a short while, you've always been a great family who welcomes me as if you've known me for a lifetime. I feel honored to have had Ralph's friendship for even that short time. I'll remember him well.

When I reflect on Ralph and his passing I go into my own little world, close my eyes, and hope that, in some way, God tripped his finger on the wrong person. Ralph can't leave, he's too much a part of everyone's life. Who will laugh as loud as Ralph at my old stale jokes? Of course, Marge will - I was never too sure if she was laughing at my jokes or humoring me. Now that I look back I think she's gave me those doughnuts to help keep my mouth shut. Now I know if Ralph was here he would give me the heartiest of laughs on that one. Ralph is (and I'm going to say Is from here forward...Ralph is and always will be part of my life and my fondest memories.)
I have no doubt that God has a master plan for Ralph and can't help but think that Ralph will convince him to bring the rest of his friends and family "up there" when we leave this earth so God can once again share him with us. I'm sure that God knows how Ralph likes to laugh at a joke and sits for hours thinking up every funny story he can tell Ralph. I personally know that God has a sense of humor, he created Louie (thanks Louie for always being there for me to ping on!).
I can't say "in conclusion" because as far as Ralph is concerned there never will be a conclusion or an end. I will simply say in closing that if there is a master key to get us into heaven, the name of that key is Ralph!!

Ralph, you are sooo missed already. Knowing we won't get to see your smiling face at the festivals any longer leaves me heartbroken. But I am thankful to have gotten the chance to know you over the past several years. Shaun couldn't wait for me to meet you & Marge. He had so many wonderful things to say about the two of you and always with a smile on his face. Your support over the years of the band has meant sooo much to all of us. When I picture you, I see a man always with a smile on his face and the best laugh in the world!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Thank you for your hospitality over the years and for always making me feel welcome. Miss you!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Love, Amy

Well I didn't meet Ralph & Marge until my early teen years, but I was welcomed with open arms. I loved going to the bluegrass festivals just knowing they would be there. I couldn't wait till it was late and we would walk over to their camper for coffee( milk in my case) and homemade doughnuts. I loved listening to him and Marge tell stories and we would laugh till the wee morning hours. Ralph always was the first one to offer up his chair for me to sit in and he always was asking, "Can I get you anything, drink, eat, whatever." I always just felt like one of the family when I was there.

I always am nervous when I get up on stage, no matter how many times I do it; but if I looked out amongst the crowd I would always spot Ralph and it would put my nerves to rest. I know now that he's watching from up above and I am sure I will not be nervous again!
We will miss you dearly Ralph and I am so glad that I was one of the lucky ones that you touched with your love. Thanks!! We love you!

Ohh Ralph....you are surely missed. you have no idea. Your personality, by far is one of a kind. There is no one out thee as fun loving as you and marge. These two people are so special. They supported my husband since he was knee high to a grasshopper! Always there at each show, and just like shaun said...never a night when we were not invited to the camper for coffe, marge's AWESOME homemade donuts, scotcharoos, and laughs for HOURS!!! This man will make it possible for us to celebrate his life, rather than mourn his loss. He was so happy all the time, and all we can do when we think of him is smile. THAT is a true leaner to me. Ralph, we miss you, and love you...Keep us laughing from up there, we know you will be watching. Love Missy

Ralph was certainly loved by many. He and his wife, Marge, ALWAYS made sure to invite us down to their camper for coffee and desert after our shows. He loved having his friends surrounding him. Anytime you stopped in at his campsite there were usually a group of his friends gathered with him. He made you feel part of the family right away and made sure you felt comfortable. The number of hearts he touched is countless. He always had a good story to tell that would usually make you fall out of your chair from laughing. He was a huge supporter of my music and made sure I knew that by coming to our shows everytime he could. Ralph, I will miss you, but will know you're still listening in on us. Thanks for the coffee and the friendship. (We'll just leave the donuts out of it. HAHA) Love, Shaun
