The Leaning Institute of America™ is
a Life Coaching center that helps you create more harmony and
success in your life by applying the "Simple Tools" of Leaning.
Founder, James Sarvis, has spent over 20 years developing the
philosophy of Leaning so it is easy and practical to
implement. It teaches you the importance of giving and
receiving goodwill by creating "Leaning Moments" with others every
day. It teaches you how to turn your dreams into goals and become
that positive predictable person that your family and friends can
count on.
With our workshops, training programs, and one-on-one coaching, the
Leaning Institute can help you can get recharged and
build up your strength, confidence and ability. It is also a
place to recognize and honor the ordinary people in your life who
have made a difference. We are dedicated to bringing families
together and improving relationships. The Leaner Network at
www.leanernetwork.com
was designed for this very purpose and we hope you will join us to
publicly honor the special people in your life. The Leaning
Institute is housed in an 18,000 sq. ft. facility located in
the beautiful rolling hills of the Berkshires in Lenox, MA. Lenox
is home to the Tanglewood Music Festival, Shakespeare &
Company, Cranwell Resort & Spa, Canyon Ranch, and the Kripalu
Yoga & Health Center. For more information, please call

James Sarvis

From the time he was a young man, James Sarvis sought ways to help
better the lives of others. Whether serving as a young insurance
agent, a contractor, restaurateur, entrepreneur, or as a successful
attorney, his passion has always been to help people find peace and
happiness in their lives.
In 2007, he founded the
The Leaning Institute of America
with the goals of providing a place for individuals from all walks
of life to come to find their inner strength as
Leaners and
to help them learn strategies to more effectively and efficiently
make
Leaning a central part of their life experience.
A graduate of Coastal Carolina University and the University of
South Carolina School of Law, James holds a Bachelor of Science
degree in History and a Juris Doctorate of Laws. He established and
managed a successful law practice in South Carolina, achieving his
goal of early retirement within ten years in order to make
The
Leaning Institute of America a reality and to share the
Leaning philosophy and its strategies with others. He
remains in good standing with the South Carolina Bar
Association.
The joy James experiences in his life and his understanding of the
challenging yet, ultimately, rewarding
Power of Leaning
emanates through the songs, poems, one-act plays, and stories for
narration he has written.

Corey Zink

Corey was born and raised in Lenox, Massachusetts where he attended
school and pursued his passion for Music. Corey has been
entertaining audiences, playing music and singing throughout New
England since he was a boy. He has been a finalist in singing and
songwriting competitions and continues to tour with his working
groups all around the northeast. Corey began writing for his bands
in 2002 and has released two albums that are now playing on
traditional country and bluegrass radio up and down the East Coast.
In early 2008, Corey became the music director of the
Leaning
Institute of America where he is producing a large library of
music with founder James Sarvis. Their first album, "Coming
Home" is currently available via Amazon.com, iTunes, and the
Gifts
section of the
Leaner Network.
Corey coined the term
Leaning Music from his
songwriting sessions with James. The Library of music that is
being created has been described as "life coaching, educational
music that squeezes the heart." His role at
the
Leaning Institute spans the spectrum from
singing, songwriting and recording to live performance and coaching
the “
Leaning Philosophy”. Corey's style of singing is often
compared to George Jones and Randy Travis. As music director of
the
Leaning Institute, Corey's goal is to make a
difference in the world through music and life coaching. The music
department has also been designed to encourage and promote new
talent. Corey has a true passion for helping others apply
the
Leaning Philosophy to their life and turn
their dreams into goals.
