At 11:27pm on March 10, 2009, Melissa Zink said…: was just reviewing my goals....and one of them is to sing, and not be afraid to do it....I remember vivdly you ALWAYS encouraging me to sing, and even giving me LOTS of solo's in chorus, and in the school plays....I remember performing at the shaker village, and at the theatre in pittsfield...a big ol' christmas show....wow, some of my FAVORITE memories growing up....that gave me confidence to then move on to doing plays in high school and I ended up with many singing leads....but somewhere along the way..I have lost my confidence in that department....my husband is an amazing singer, and wants me to sing with him...Im too shy to do it, and DON'T KNOW WHY!!...but I wish for one second I could go back to "Ms. Petty's music classes"....where I could be surrounded by you and your positive energy every single day!!!! you gave me that confidence and I thank you for it....right now i just need to dig deep inside and bring it back out....memories of you help that happen. Thank you for creating leaning moments with me, before I even knew what they were :)
